HYHA receives $15,425 from the Washington Co. Gaming Commission

August 5 - The Washington Co. Gaming Commission awarded HYHA funds for its hockey and rink operations based on a proposal submitted by the HYHA Board in May.  The proposals are geared at increase participation in the Learn to Skate, Learn to Play, and Pond Hockey programs. 

HYHA receives grant from Potomac Valley Amateur Hockey Assocation

July 21 - HYHA received one of  the John Crear Hockey Development Grants awarded by the PVAHA in July.  The funds will be used to increase participation and replace equipment in the HYHA Pond Hockey program.

Mite Round-up a success!

July 19 - 20 Mite age players hit the new ice for an hour of skills and drills Saturday while parents learned about the 2008-2009 Mite program (8 & under).

July 15 - The ice was removed during the Summer shut down to make necessary repairs under the ice sheet.  A new Bulldog logo was ordered, prepared, and placed at center ice.  Thanks to the vounteers who prepared the stencil and painted the logo on the ice!
 

HYHA to operate rink through 2013

May 21 - HYHA and the City of Hagerstown have agreed to a 5-year contract that allows HYHA to assume the day-to-day operations of the Hagerstown Ice & Sport Complex at Fairgrounds Park.


The Hagerstown Bulldogs play all their home games at the Hagerstown Ice and Sport Complex at Fairgrounds Park in Hagerstown, Maryland.
